Hi there folks!
This is my inaugural post for this blog, it's all very exciting! Humorous title aside if you have in fact intentionally viewed this blog instead of simply stumbling upon it after some ill conceived link clicking or some such nonsense, then welcome! If you are here by mistake then you're welcome also, at this point you have two options, hit the back button/address bar and get the hell outta' dodge or... Stick around, you never know, you might like what you read.
Now for a little about myself, this blog and my reasons for starting it. Me? I'm not a particularly interesting fellow by all accounts, i'm a student, or at least I am for the next few months, I've just turned 21 and I'm essentially just another semi-bright young upstart that thinks he knows how the world should be. Which brings me to the part about the blog! Recently I've found myself increasingly irritated by the state of the world, on both a micro and macro level, so much so in fact I began to realise that if i didn't start writing it down I'd probably never feel any less irritated, hence the subtitle.
The topics in this blog will be broad ranging but will mostly cover things I personally have recently found to be stupid/irritating/infuriating etcetera. For example: during that most hated of days, Valentines day I engaged in several lengthy, venomous rants on the telephone with various people with whom I am associated, decrying the various elements of this so called 'holiday' I found insulting on both an intellectual and emotional level. (Essentially all of them). I'll probably post a condensed version of those conversations on here at some point for posterity, it was some of my finest work, even if I do say so myself.
If I'm being honest, I don't expect a great deal of readers, if any at all. But if I do get some, I hope you'll be at least entertained and hopefully educated a little, by what you read.
